🌙 How to use and wash LUNA+
Before first use
- Wash in the machine at 40 °C, no fabric softener – gentle cycle recommended.
- Always use the laundry bag included.
- Hand rinse isn’t enough – they need a proper wash.
After each wear
- Change after max 12 hours – or sooner if fully saturated.
- When fully wet, they stop absorbing – change in time.
Washing
- Rinse with cold water first if heavily soaked, until the water runs nearly clear.
- Machine wash at 40 °C, again no fabric softener.
- Hand wash is okay in a pinch – just use detergent without softener.
Drying
- Hang dry naturally – they dry in about 8–10 hours at room temp.
- Want it faster? Hang above a radiator, not directly on it – 2–3 hours.
- No tumble dryer. High heat can damage the fabric.

The panties are great, better than pads in that they are more absorbent, but during heavy periods they will still leak, but after a much longer period than a pad. For one wearing of the panties I would replace 3 tampons or 3 pads during my heavy periods,
