A sterilization pouch designed for steam-cleaning your menstrual cup in the microwave.

The sterilization pouch is included with every menstrual cup, as it also serves as a travel case.

This means you won’t throw the packaging away after opening—it can be reused to sterilize the cup before and after your period.

If your original sterilization pouch is worn out, you can purchase a replacement pouch here.

Cotton pouch
Made in the Czech Republic
The fabric with our custom design is printed and supplied by the Czech company LaLinea.
The cotton pouches are sewn for us by a local sewing workshop.

Pour a few tablespoons of water into the pouch, insert the menstrual cup, seal it with the zip closure, and place it in the microwave on maximum power for a few minutes. This results in steam sterilization, which is one of the most effective methods—eliminating more than 99% of bacteria.

The cup can also be sterilized without the sterilization pouch by boiling it in water for a few minutes.

Instructions for use are printed on the back of the product and are also included in the LUNACUP menstrual cup user manual.
