What is LUNACUP? The Period Game-Changer You've Been Waiting For

The cup is just great for traveling

Summer is over, but that doesn't mean that all trips and holidays are over. Not only are there long autumn weekends ahead of us, but also various exotic holidays or winter fun in the mountains, where our great travel companion should not be missing. There are many reasons. You don't have to lug around boxes of tampons that usually spill all over your suitcase or backpack. You don't have to worry about the size of pads you'll need, and you don't even have to worry about whether you'll get your period during your holiday, because with a cup you can do everything, including swimming with dolphins :-)

Customers often ask how to travel with a cup, how to take care of it while traveling, how to sterilize it, and whether it is even possible to go hiking in the mountains with a cup, or a classic relaxing vacation full of sea, sand, and good drinks. Yes, the cup can handle all of this with you and you won't have to worry about strings sticking out of your swimsuit, where to throw a tampon in the mountains, or how many hygiene products you need with you. You will be able to swim in the sea and under a waterfall without any worries, and do any summer or winter sport, all while being comfortable.

And now my tips for using the cup in more demanding conditions without a sink and toilet. Honestly, I prefer to change the cup in the forest than in public toilets. : -) So a water bottle is essential. I recommend washing the cup with the water you normally drink. If I don't have access to warm water, at least once a day, I wash the cup with antibacterial gel and then rinse it thoroughly with water and, ideally, with an intimate gel. Otherwise, I usually wash the cup with an intimate gel once a day. At first, I took two bottles with me on vacation - one with a classic shower gel and one with an intimate gel, but in the end I reconsidered and only take one with the intimate gel, and I think it's an ideal option that will be appreciated mainly by travelers with a backpack on their backs, where every gram counts. Wet wipes are certainly a good helper, but you can do without them.

You can also swim with the cup without any worries and you don't have to change it after every swim. Even during the winter, winter sports lovers will appreciate it, because the cup usually lasts 2-3 times longer than a tampon, so you don't have to take off your warm clothes every now and then and you can spend the saved time with a glass of Aperol and a view of the mountains.

Don't forget to empty your cup at least every 12 hours during your travel adventures, and I recommend that new users practice handling the cup before their planned vacation. More information on our website or write to us in the chat.

Wishing you the best experiences from your travels and holidays, on behalf of LUNACUP, Yours, Tess
