How to Care for Menstrual Swimsuits?
A menstrual swimsuit should be worn for no more than 12 hours. After that, you can either put it directly into the washing machine or rinse it thoroughly with water before washing it in the machine or by hand. For lighter menstruation, or after rinsing with water, you can wash it together with other laundry.
Avoid using fabric softener, as it can damage the absorbent layers. Wash at 40°C.
Let the swimsuit air dry and avoid using a tumble dryer (unless you have a modern dryer with a special program for functional clothing). Unlike menstrual underwear, you can dry it in the sun, but always hang it freely. The drying temperature should not exceed 50°C (a temperature at which you can still comfortably hold your hand on the heat source).
